  • Chhattisgarh govt launches “Godhan Nyay Yojna”

 


The buying of cow dung in Chhattisgarh began on the day of Hareli festival under the “Godhan Nyay Yojna”.The Hareli Festival was celebrated on 20th July 2020. Chhattisgarh became the first state to buy Cow dung. Under this scheme, the government will buy cow dung from cattle herders at the rate of ₹ 2 per kg, and then it will be made organic fertilizer which will be sold at 8₹ per kg.


  • Mamta Chandrakar appointed as new Vc of Khairagarh Music University

Chhattisgarh Governor Anusuiya Uike appointed Mokshada Chandrakar also known as Mamta Chandrakar as Vice-chancellor Of Indira Kala Music University Khairagarh.

In 1956, Maharaja Birendra Bahadur Singh and maharani Padmavati Devi, the then King and Queen of the princely state of Khairagarh, donated their palace to open a university of music, dance, and visual arts. The university was named after their deceased daughter, Indira Devi, who died young and had been both fonds of accomplished in music. It is Asia's first musical university

Indian Railways on July 2, 2020, broke another record by operating 'SheshNaag', a 2.8 km-long train Combining four empty BOXN rakes, powered by four sets of electric locomotives.

  • Chhattisgarh police launched a campaign “Spandan”

Chhattisgarh government launches 'Spandan' campaign to restraint stress levels of security personnel. This campaign was launched after the recent incident happened in Narayanpur where an assistant constable shot his three colleagues killing two of them on spot and got another injured.

 

  • Chhattisgarh becomes the first state to open e-Lok Adalat

Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court Shri P.R. Ramchandra Menon inaugurated the first e-Lok Adalat of India. Around 195 seats were comprised at different places of the state, including far off regions like Sarguja, Kanker, Bastar, Surajpur through video conferencing, and 3,135 cases were solved. In all, 2,270 cases were settled in a single day through the virtual method.

  • The Mukhyamantri Darpan and mobile App received "Elites Excellence Awards-2020

To Monitor Chhattisgarh Government's ambitious "Suraji gaon scheme" and other flagship Schemes "Darpan portal and Mobile App" was launched. And recently Darpan portal and Mobile app received "Elites Excellence Awards-2020" under the "Digital India Initiative".This award was given by the Prestigious IT institution Elites Technomedia.

  • Chhattisgarh govt to Launch social security Scheme for Tendu Leaf collectors

After the center stopped the insurance scheme for tendu leaf collector state govt decided to start a new insurance scheme. This scheme is to be named after slain Congress leader Mahendra Karma.

This scheme will be called Shahid Mahendra Karma Tendu Patta Sangrahak Samajik Suraksha Yojna, the scheme aims to benefit more than 12.50 lakh tendu leaf collectors

 

If the age of the head of the family is below 50 yrs

For normal death- 2 lakhs

For accidental death- 4 lakhs

Fully handicapped- 2 lakhs

Partial handicapped – 1 lakhs                               

If the age of the head of the family is between  51 to 59 yrs

For normal death- 30 thousand

For accidental death-  75 thousand

Fully handicapped – 75 thousand

Partial handicapped- 37.5 thousand      (all currency in Rupees)

After coming to power, CM Bhupesh  Baghel Revised the rate of Tendu leaf from 2500 Rs to 4000 Rs.

This scheme is scheduled to be launched on 5th August 2020 which is the birth anniversary of former Congress leader Mahendra Karma.

Govt of Chhattisgarh announced to develop Turturiya ashram(birthplace of Lav-kush children of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita) and its surroundings in Balodabazar district into an eco-spot

 

  • Chhattisgarh govt bought cow dung worth 1.65 cr in a Fortnight

Chattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh baghel transferred 1.65 cr to the accounts of more than 46,000 cattle rearers as payment for procurement of cow dung under the scheme Godhan Nyay Yojna which was launched on 20th July 2020.
